League for Innovation in the Community College

Report highlights district's record of excellence, equity and innovation

The League for Innovation in the Community College is an international nonprofit organization with a mission to cultivate innovation in the community college environment. The top executives from 19 of the most influential, resourceful, and dynamic community colleges and districts in the world comprise the League’s board of directors and provide strategic direction for its ongoing activities. Foothill-De Anza Community College District is a founding member of the League and has served continuously on the League's board since 1968.

Foothill-De Anza is in the process of seeking reaffirmation of its League board membership, which is required after a change in the chief executive officer. The reaffirmation process commenced on July 31, 2024, following the completion of Chancellor Lee Lambert's first year of service.

In January 2025, the district submitted a comprehensive report to the League in support of its continuing board membership.
